Our Mission

Founded by Robert Ehardt and Sharada Singh, in 2010. E Construction believes that a can do attitude and hard work, infused with a spirit of excellence enables our teams to exceed our client expectations. The company’s founding principles are driven to deliver the highest level of service to every client on every project no matter what it takes. E Construction Groups founders believe through example and inspiration, a single individual can move mountains.

Our Experience

E Construction has assembled a team of experienced construction professionals. All of our staff have worked in Washington DC market for over two decades and have a vast range of skills. In order to set ourselves apart from the competition; we are always striving to find ways to evolve the construction process through simple jobsite techniques, and comprehensive state of the art construction technology. E Construction has initiated, developed and patented its own post construction software in order to help evolve the construction process for the betterment of our industry and clients. We also offer a virtual reality jobsite walk through for clients that need more of a visual representation of the finish product.

Sharada Singh – CEO

As one of the founding owners and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Singh is responsible for the overall business operations of the firm. Ms. Singh directs and oversees all client relations, business planning, and management issues of the firm. Starting her career in the construction industry as an assistant project manager, Ms. Singh progressed up through the construction ranks and has over 20 years of experience managing and overseeing projects in the Washington DC area at a high level. Ms. Singh has been honored while at E Construction Group as one of the 25 most influential international women and was articled and profiled on the cover of MEA magazine for one of the 50 top female minority executives in the Nation. Ms. Singh is also sits as President of Leesburg Commerce Center Board of Directors.

Robert Ehardt – President

Mr. Ehardt is a Co-founder of E Construction and is responsible for all of the firm’s operational activities. As the president of the firm, Mr. Ehardt oversees and manages all of E Construction Project Managers, Assistant Project managers and Superintendents and is responsible for all Pre-construction services. During his career, Robert has been responsible for managing a variety of construction projects including hotels, data centers, fast tracks tenant build-outs and restaurants. He has won numerous awards including the Association of General Contractor’s Award of Excellence, is a four time award winner of ABC’s Excellence in Construction (interior division), NAIOPs award for Project Excellence, and the national commercial builder council for project of the year. Mr. Ehardt has been nationally published in (4) construction magazines over the years and has been inducted into Biltmore who’s who, for individuals that represent leadership and achievement in their industry. Mr. Ehardt sits on the DC Chamber of Commerce Presidents advisory board. Mr. Ehardt also holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Construction Management and a Masters of Business Administration in Business Management.
